Radio courses

The courses listed here offer great added value for radio makers. They are free of charge for Radio Summernight members. The courses are not a requirement for having your own programme on Radio Summernight.

Project days for school classes

Producing live content and publishing radio features motivates pupils to engage with new topics and present what they have learned. During the project week, we show that media and technical devices are not only for entertainment but can also be used as working tools and practical aids. Pupils explore new media in depth and learn how to use them responsibly. Through research and guided discussion, participants discover both the opportunities and risks of new media.

Jingles / trailers

Jingles as a signature for your own programme and trailers promoting highlights are essential. A focused message, the right rhythm and that special something make all the difference. Producing a jingle or trailer also helps you improve your editing skills. Depending on the course location, you will work with the radio station’s editing software or your own software, such as Audacity or GarageBand, on your laptop.

Goal: Participants produce their own jingle or trailer, from recording and editing the audio to the finished product.

Course dates 2026 A jingle and trailer production course is currently being planned for summer 2026. If you are interested, contact us using the button.
